Building the Foundation of Energy Awareness This opening module introduces students to the history, philosophy, and foundational principles of Feng Shui while helping them begin to understand how energy influences people, spaces, relationships, and life experiences. Students will explore the origins of Feng Shui within ancient Chinese traditions and develop a working knowledge of the energetic principles that underpin all Feng Shui practice. Topics include Chi/Qi energy flow, Yin and Yang theory, the Five Elements, the Pa Kua, Lo Shu Square, Trigrams, Chinese Zodiac systems, and an introduction to the I-Ching. Students will also learn how these systems interact with each other to influence health, relationships, prosperity, career, and emotional well-being. This module emphasizes both personal insight and practical application. Students will calculate and interpret their personal Min Gua number, explore elemental strengths and challenges, and begin understanding how Feng Shui can be used as a tool for transformation and balance. Hands-on exercises include: • Personal Min Gua calculations and interpretation • Elemental balancing exercises • Introduction to personal directions and energetic mapping • Divination and intuitive exercises • Creating personal Feng Shui reports By the end of this module, students will have a strong foundational understanding of classical Feng Shui concepts and how to begin applying them in everyday life.
